so i'm aware this advice isn't going to work for everyone, feel free to take it or leave it as you will, but since it works for me it's worth sharing - have you tried starting with a task that has extremely low barrier to entry and chaining the important stuff to that?
like, when i was in university, video games that had daily achievements were the only reason i got most of my assignments done
because when you're neurodivergent and struggle with starting tasks, there's a couple of things that might be causing a mental block
1) task too confusing - basically your brain doesn't know where to begin on this task and thus it's just paused everything until you can figure out the correct steps to take. when this is the issue, breaking it down into small chunks and writing down an order to do them in is a great solution
or it could be 2) task too scary. you know what this task involves but there's a lot of uncertain or unpleasant parts of it, so your brain has turned it into a hot stove reaction. getting someone else involved to help you is usually the best way around this one
but then there's 3) task engine won't start (otherwise known as autistic inertia). moving from rest to task mode takes energy, and if your energy is being taken up by being too tired or either of the problems above, you can keep trying to start that engine and it's just gonna keep sputtering at you
so the way around that one is to give yourself a task that removes all of the other barriers that might be draining your energy. if you're tired, do something that you can do while tired. if you're scared of the big task, start with a small task you're not scared of. if the task is confusing, start with something really easy to complete, ideally something you've done before
this is where video game dailies came in really handy for me. i would always do them when i got home, before i started any other school related tasks. and important distinction - this was not me deciding to rest and relax before starting the task, playing video games WAS the task. if you put your brain in time to relax mode, then it's easy to lose track of time and spend all day gaming and that just adds stress
but video game dailies gave me a natural stopping point. i log in, which is easy, requires very little energy, and isn't at all scary. i do whatever tasks in game i've decided to do for the day
and once those were done, i'd get that little voice in my head like "okay, what's next on the list?"
and once you're in "what's next on the list", it's a lot easier to move to "why, my homework is!" than it is to go from "i wanna sleep" to "time to do several hours of coursework!"
(and if you find even the tiniest of tasks like the video game dailies is too much for you, it's probably worth taking the time to rest because then you'll get back into productive mode quicker than if you'd tried all day to work, gotten nowhere, and still hadn't managed to get your rest)

this randomly blew up on twitter so i figured i’d post it here bc lord knows everyone on this app is neurodivergent

y'know i'm autistic and a little bit stuck on this bc of how egregious it is, so beneath the cut is my off the cuff suggestions for a BETTER study or sets of studies to evaluate usage of LLMs on learning and cognition in general
first thing i would do is a fucking LITERATURE REVIEW on BOTH groups of studies done on LLM usage up to this point, AND studies on CHILDHOOD COGNITION AND LEARNING.
whatever that information/conclusions presents would influence where i go from there
without doing that, my thoughts are:
if they were concerned abt ppl using LLMs for schoolwork in particular, they SHOULD have pulled standardized cognitive tests and benchmarks of learning/retention that have already been used in many studies and used those SAME TESTS/TOOLS ON THE SAME/RELEVANT AGE GROUPS
in other words, they should've pulled data on certain demographics and cognition and learning ability from years/decades BEFORE LLMs were in popular usage.
data about how teenagers and preteens do homework in the years before 2020 would be immensely helpful as a benchmark/point of reference.
then you pull random kids of the same age and demographic, in roughly the same sample sizes as the referent studies, and do the SAME TESTS.
you give them no instructions except that they should do the assignment however they would normally do it.
boom, first major part of the study done.
you compare those results directly to previous results and put them in conversation with each other.
there are confounding factors, of course: are short attention spans to be pinned on socmed rather than LLMs? so getting data from when socmed was still in popular use is important.
but that is information that you can compare from BEFORE LLM usage and AFTER LLM usage.
another would be an aggregate study.
gathering information from across however many participating public schools across the nation
what do their curriculums look like?
what are their average scores?
how do teachers teach now?
what is the presence of LLMs in the classroom?
do an entire aggregate survey and analysis of that data, as well.
boom, there you go, direct before and after data to compare.
THEN.
you could look at how LLM usage changes depending on age group, demographic, educational background, assignment, etc.
ask ppl how much they've used an LLM, if at all. split them up based on that. then sub-split them by age group and educational level.
give them all THE SAME TASK WITH THE SAME TOOLS.
have the LLM-dependent groups perform tasks without an LLM available and then measure their brain wave activities AND ALSO check the quality and accuracy of the work they produce
compare this to the group that only uses LLMs sometimes
and the group that basically never uses an LLM (with some leeway, since it's unlikely that you'll find someone 18 and under who has NEVER used an LLM)
you compare brain activity, work method, how long it takes them to complete the task, and the quality and accuracy of the final product
then you can switch it up: everyone can use search engines and databases for research, but not LLMs
then you switch it up again: everyone can and HAS to use an LLM for their wok
now what you can compare is: the brain activity of LLM-dependent ppl doing the task without an LLM, with search engines and databases, and with an LLM.
and you can compare that to the brain activity and results of ppl who are NOT dependent upon LLMs.
i think what they would probably find is that LLM-dependent participants would struggle to persevere. the final quality of the work would be all over the place. the accuracy would, as well. their methodology for solving problems and addressing prompts and completing tasks would likewise be all over the place.
the other groups would vary depending on what they consider their strengths to be, but would generally be much less likely to struggle with the tasks themselves. i think the quality of the work would, again, depend on what their "wheelhouse" is, but would overall and generally be better or show more signs of Learning and Cognition.
i also don't think there should be a time limit on their tasks (there should be a secret one which is like, 1-2 hours, for practicalities' sake). you can tell them up front: take as long as you need. we'll give you a 10 minute warning if we need to wrap up and move onto the next participant, but don't worry abt it until then. whether you complete the task is not important.
then you also have the length of time it takes each group to complete each task.
and you can normalize based on the information you gather from each participant--if they take a long time for EVERY task, then you can adjust, mathematically (however that happens, again, i'm not a STEM person lol), for making those times fit the rest of the data rather than calling them outliers.
anyway point being, you gain a lot more information.
i also think that there should be a final test: a written or verbal test asking them to recall the information they learned and synthesized in those previous tasks.
and finally, a post-study interview.
what was it like doing these assignments? which felt easy or hard? why? what approach did you take? do you feel like this is comparable to how you did in school?
etc etc etc so on and so forth
that way they don't change their approach based on previous knowledge of what questions will be asked of them.
i think all of that^^ would provide a lot better data
would it be harder and more time consuming to do? YEP.
but it can be done in stages.
because the other thing with this fucking bullshit bogusass study is that they COULD have just said "this is preliminary, proof of concept"
they COULD have said "for various reasons, these results cannot be and are not conclusive. but this is a proof of concept that there is something worth researching here."
this could've been pitched LIKE THAT. but it wasn't. i read the paper. nowhere in it does it suggest anything like that, as far as i could find.
if it had been pitched that way, it would've been a preliminary study that would prove they deserve the time, $, and resources to DO the bigger and more thorough studies that i outlined above.
"see, this study proves that there's something worth studying more in depth. even in this small preliminary study, we've shown that LLMs do affect memory and cognition in ways that we would need to do more research to understand. give us the ability to do that research."
but they didn't.
they're acting like this study is enough to stand on its own. IT IS NOT.
anyway

However, with the right techniques, you can become a proficient math word problem solver and tackle even the most complex equations with confidence. In this blog post, we'll explore some tried-and-tested strategies that absolutely work for mastering math word problems.
Understand The Problem: The first step in solving any math word problem is to thoroughly understand what it's asking. Read the problem carefully, identifying key information, variables, and what needs to be solved. Highlight or jot down important details to keep track of them.
Translate Words into Math: Many students struggle with translating words into mathematical expressions. Break down the problem into smaller parts and assign variables to unknown quantities. Use keywords like "sum," "difference," "product," and "quotient" to determine the operation needed.
Draw Diagrams Or Visualize: Sometimes, a visual representation of the problem can provide valuable insights. Draw diagrams, graphs, or charts to illustrate the problem and aid in understanding. Visualizing the problem can often lead to new perspectives and solutions.
Use Real-Life Examples: Math word problems are often based on real-life scenarios. Relate the problem to your own experiences or interests to make it more relatable. This can help in understanding the context and finding practical solutions.
Identify Patterns Aand Formulas: Many math word problems follow specific patterns or can be solved using common formulas. Familiarize yourself with these patterns and formulas relevant to the topic you're studying. Recognizing these patterns can streamline the problem-solving process.
Work Backwards: In some cases, it's easier to work backwards from the solution to the problem. Start with the answer and see if you can reverse-engineer the steps needed to arrive at that solution. This approach can be particularly useful for complex problems.
Break It Down: If a problem seems overwhelming, break it down into smaller, more manageable parts. Solve each part separately and then integrate the solutions to find the overall answer. This can prevent you from feeling overwhelmed and help you stay focused.
Practice Regularly: Like any skill, mastering math word problems requires practice. Set aside time regularly to work on different types of problems. Practice reinforces your understanding of concepts and improves your problem-solving abilities.
Seek Help When Needed: Don't hesitate to seek help if you're stuck on a problem. Reach out to your teacher, classmates, or online resources for assistance. Services like math assignment help and math homework help are available to provide personalized support and guidance.

With parts modeling, engineers can design and refine individual elements, ensuring accurate dimensions and functionality.
Assembly modeling then enables the combination of these parts to simulate how they interact in a real-world application.
This process helps identify design flaws, improve functionality, and optimize production before manufacturing, saving time and reducing costs.
SolidWorks also supports testing and analysis, leading to better-performing and more efficient products.

"Late Night Talking" Tengen Uzui x Gn!Reader(Modern AU Fanfic.)
Authors note:
Heyyy everyone!!! Im so excited to finally be sharing this fic with you, Uzui is one of my very favorite Demon Slayer Characters, and I've had this idea floating in the back of my mind for a while now. I sincerely hope you enjoy!
And as always, Reblogs are not only appreciated but highly encouraged, it helps my account grow!
Warnings: Mildly spicy.
Quiet banter echoed from the main living area of a small apartment in the middle of a bustling city. The noise of bustling late-night traffic had fluttered into a measly whisper by the time it reached the open windows of the dim apartment, snaking through the mesh screen and around the fairy lights adorning the ceiling. A soft breeze blew through the living space, rustling the thin curtains hanging around the large windows as if they were trying to fend off the noise sneaking into the apartment. Inside, the room was calm, with only a few words breaking through the air every now and then. It was well into the night, the clock just passing the ten-thirty mark, and for the past five hours, you and Tengen Uzui had been busy at work on the latest truckload of trigonometry homework your professor had assigned. Your pencil danced across the paper, jotting down different equations like they were common knowledge. By your side, Tengen leaned hunched over the coffee table in front of the couch you two rested on; he groaned loudly as an ‘error’ message popped up on his calculator.
“This is so stupid.” He proclaimed as he set down the calculator in his hand and leaned back into the couch. You looked up from the paper in your lap and settled your sights on the disgruntled man to your side. A soft chuckle escaped your lips as you watched him pinch the bridge of his nose. He was always dramatic. From the moment you met him in the first year of high school and all the way to your junior year of college, your best friend was the dictionary definition of a drama king.
“Yeah, it is. And leave it to Mr. Urokodaki to give us all this work a week before spring break.” You agreed, picking up the binder from your lap and placing it on the coffee table before you. Tengen watched as you shifted on the couch, ignoring your work in favor of facing him. He followed your movement, turning on the couch so he was leaning against the arm of the furniture.
“He’s just a douche like that.” He rolled his eyes, his hand threading through his shoulder-length white hair. You took in his every movement, cursing yourself internally with every second your eyes dared to wander. It was no argument that he was attractive. You could see that from a mile away, and so could anyone else. But it didn’t help your case that he was your best friend, and all those years ago, you both made an agreement to not date. Oh, how you had grown to hate that agreement. Maybe at the time, it was right, but now it seemed you couldn’t tear the thought of him from your mind. Though you couldn’t blame yourself, he was built like a Greek god, and knowing him so personally for so long, it already felt like you had met the man you wanted to spend your life with. You looked away from him as you noticed you had been staring.
“Honestly, I don’t even know why you’re still taking this class. It doesn’t line up with your coursework at all. Music Production and Engineering doesn’t really track with stem courses.” You looked over to the open window across the room, taking in the lights of the surrounding city that attempted to break through your apartment. You didn’t have to look at Tengen to know he was staring right at you. His piercing magenta eyes locked on the side of your face as you spoke. Your attention returned to him as a soft chuckle followed your statement. You looked back to Tengen, who had scooted closer to you on the sofa, a wide smirk painted across his face.
“Wanna know a secret?” He whispered, “I’m auditing the class.” He leaned back, the smirk on his face widening as he watched an unamused gaze break across your face. You knew he was holding back laughter, from the curve of his lips to the way his eyes seemed to beg for a reaction from you. He was on the verge of laughter, and you refused to give him that satisfaction.
“Why the hell are you doing that?” You pushed his face away from you, your eyes furrowing as you watched all enjoyment drain from his face. He groaned in disappointment, his head tilting back as he rolled his eyes.
“Because! We don’t have any classes together, and we’re both so busy.” His tone softened as if he were becoming nervous about what he was saying. “With your internships and with me trying to kickstart a music career…I miss you.” His eyes avoided you, looking anywhere else around the room. You sighed softly, shifting in your seat as you reached for his hand. Tengen’s eyes snapped down as you intertwined his hand with yours.
“You could have just told me that.” You smiled softly. “It would have been far more simple.”
“(Y/n), when have I ever been simple in anything I do.” Tengen rolled his eyes as his thumb gently brushed over the side of your hand. You smiled at his actions; even if you believed his auditing one of the most challenging classes you took was silly, it was nice to know that he would go out of his way for you. He’d always been one to do that. No matter what it was, he was always there, from driving ten hours to pick you up after your long-distance significant other had dumped you and practically left you stranded to ditching a final for his class because your car had a flat tire. Whenever you needed him, he was there, and whenever he needed you, you were there.
“Never. But that’s why I know you’re going to go above and beyond as a musician. Everything you do is as flamboyant as you.” Was all you could truly manage to say as you slowly pulled your hand free from his. His face seemed to shift as you pulled away from him, but you didn’t let yourself dwell on it as you stood from your seat and brushed off your lounge clothes.
“Would you like some more water? Or a snack?” You asked, earning a soft ‘no thank you’ from Tengen. Your shoulders shrugged before you turned on your heel, heading towards the dark kitchen a few feet from your living area. The room fell silent as you retrieved a bag of your favorite snack and made your way back to the living room. Tengen remained silent as you rounded the corner back into the room.
“Did I tell you..shit…Did I tell you that I have a signing with a record label over spring break?” His voice fluttered through the silence, meeting your ears and stilling you in place as you stared him down. Your jaw became loose, falling open as the bag of snacks in your hands fell to the floor due to your shock. Tengen sat motionless, and his hands clasped firmly together as he looked you in the eyes, silently begging you for a reaction to the news. It all happened in an instant; one moment, you were across the room from him, and the next, you were standing between his legs with his face pressed firmly between your two hands.
“Excuse me?! That’s amazing- oh my god?! Why didn’t you tell me sooner?!” Your hands left his face as you wrapped your arms around his neck, falling into a hug due to the rush of emotions. You flushed as his arms wrapped around your waist, hoisting you into his lap as you held him close to your body. You took in a deep breath, taking in every inch of him while you were this close. You couldn’t wrap your mind around it, and your best friend was signing with a recording label. He was making it in the industry, just as you knew he always would.
“I couldn’t find the right time…I just wanted it to be me and you, like the old days.” Tengen sighed, “Honestly, I wish I could be with you and only you all the time.” He confessed. Slowly you leaned back, tucking a loose strand of stark white hair behind his ear and settling your hand on his jaw.
“Well, I’m here now, and it’s just you and me. And I promise you, whenever you need it to be just us, it will be just us.” A gentle brush of your thumb on his cheek had his eyes widening and your heart racing. You two had been close before, but this, this was entirely new. You sat perched in his lap, one arm slung over his shoulder and a hand resting on the side of his face. His hands were anchored on your waist, holding you close to him as possible. Your eyes remained locked on his, taking in the detail of how they gazed at you and how they seemed to sparkle due to the dim fairy lights above. It was perfect. The room was quiet, and you were in the arms of the man you had undoubtedly come to love; the only thing missing was that unbroken confession the two of you seemed too stubborn to share. But tonight, with his arms around you and the look in his eyes. Maybe, you thought, it was time to take the weight off your chest.
“Tengen…” Your voice was a whisper, unknowing of what to say or do with each second that passed. You glanced away momentarily, only to feel one of Tengen’s hands gently squeeze your side, snapping your attention back to him. Your eyes snapped back just in time to catch him leaning in. The next second, his mouth was pressed flush on yours, practicality consuming you whole as he pulled you closer to him, if it was possible. Your eyes fluttered closed as your hands threaded through his hair, a satisfied sigh breaking through kisses.
You only pulled away when you were in desperate need of a breath. But still, your eyes remained locked on his now-flushed face, and your hands didn’t dare lose their place tangled in his hair.
“Can we do that again, please? I need to cement in my mind how your lips tasted on mine.” He asked softly. You didn’t answer; instead, you smiled as you smashed your lips against his again. His hands carefully roamed your body as you tugged at the roots of his hair; the euphoria flooding your heart, body, mind, and soul was almost too much as you pulled away once more, attempting to catch your breath again.
“I love you. I love you so much, and I can’t keep hiding it. You’re my whole world, my sun, my moon, my stars, god, you’re my universe. And I want you with me every step of the way, not platonically. I want you. I’ve only ever wanted you.” Tengen sputtered, his chest heaving and his face flushed.
“And I want you just as badly.” You nodded your head slightly, acknowledging his statement and reinforcing yours. It was seconds before his lips returned to yours. Softly, you chuckled against his lips, overwhelming happiness blossoming from your heart with every moment spent with his mouth on yours. Who knew all of this could come from some late-night talking?

Sometimes I like to imagine Melone and I went to the same college to study the same thing and ended up in the same study group for most of our classes. Not so much a romantic scenario but more like imagining him being a part of my study group at the time since we arguably studied the same thing and becoming close friends with him as a result.
Maybe we met in a GE class that neither of us were interested in giving complete effort in but had to take for our degrees. We started out as seat mates because we both wanted to sit in the front and those two seats were coincidentally there. It started out as just greetings, probably the professor had everyone do an ice-breaker. Eventually, we both know each other's names and those around us. We find out quickly that we had similar class schedules and decided to form a study group, choosing our classes to be as similar as possible so we could help out each other. We ended up doing that for the next five years.
Those years were spent in crowded coffee shops and public libraries at tables we managed to secure early for a group of people to sit by. Oftentimes we're typing away on our laptops to finish a report while also re-watching a lecture from a class we had to skip out on because we were too busy working on a homework assignment that was going to be due in the class after that lecture. Our wardrobes were mostly free t-shirts we grabbed not only from school events but hackathons we tried but failed to place in but still had fun chowing down on cheap pizza with music blasting in the background. Oftentimes they're not fitted properly, but at least they're comfortable. Our laptops are decorated with stickers from companies we dream to work for: startups, social media platforms, cloud products, the list goes on and on. We clung onto the hope that one day we will be future engineers.
We're on Discord to share study notes via Google docs and passing memes during class and trying to suppress our laughter to avoid interrupting the professor. We're attending club activities, hoping it can get us some connections that can offer internships or full-time jobs. We're waiting in line dressed up and being guided into the career fair with our folders full of resumes we spent time helping each other look. We're cheering each other on when one of us are talking to recruiters and reassuring each other that we did great. We're standing outside of our professor's office trying to get over the nerves of asking questions about lecture or assignments, maybe asking for extensions or grade changes. When that offer for the internship or job comes to either of us, we're joyful for each other. When that happens to one of us, the other treats us out for dinner to celebrate. The first paycheck is then spent on the next celebratory meal.
We faced the fatigue felt seeing our inboxes constantly being filled with automated rejection letters from companies we wanted to apply to but were unable to get through. We struggled through interview questions, comforting each other when we feel dejected for being unable to make it through the final cut or unable to solve a problem in time. We're spending nights just venting about our worries- how we feel like we're not good enough, how our peers seem to know what's going on and are doing better, how we're scared of what will happen after college, how we're trying while the world seemed against us. We wonder whether our capstone projects are enough to be approved and get us to pass our final classes. Family and personal problems are mixed in, but we cope and overcome together.
And then, in five years, we're wearing our graduation caps with job offers to separate companies in hand and we realize that life is going to be different now. No more regular visits to the cafés, no more cramming sessions in a rundown classroom or seminars we often skip to get freebies that are going on during that time in campus. Whether or not we remain friends after college still remains, but the memories we made in school will last forever.

Wrong Number, Asshole - A Bakugou Katsuki Soulmate AU
All Parts
Part 8:
Once again you found yourself hunched over your desk and frustrated.
Your current pile of homework seemed to just be mounting by the second and you felt like you were drowning. There was just so many assignments to turn in and papers to write, let alone all of your outstanding projects left sitting on the horizon. And that’s not even counting The project- your final one which you hadn’t even touched that day.
It seemed like there was just too much work and not enough time. You felt overwhelmed, tears pricking behind your eyes just as fast as you could blink them away.
Truthfully, you didn’t know what you expected. You knew the path you’d chosen was hard. Especially since you weren’t one of the blessed who were naturally gifted. You knew that, and yet you still chose engineering; but whether that was a product of endearing stubbornness or pitiful delusion seemed to become more unclear by the day.
You lifted your head, eyes just barely focusing on the TV hanging on your wall. The local news station was replaying footage from a recent villain attack, and maybe it was your already sensitive state, or maybe it was that dream that you just couldn’t quite let go of, but your heart ached at the sight.
The heroes flying across the screen were mesmerizing. They were powerful, and brave, and strong, and above all? They were saving lives.
You’d always wanted to do that. Always yearned to help others and do good and be apart of something bigger than yourself. With your quirk, you thought that going into engineering and support would help you get there. That maybe it would give you the tools you needed to work alongside those heroes you looked up to- even if you couldn’t be on the front lines with them.
But now? Now you just felt like you were drowning.
You sighed tiredly, glancing at the time on your laptop. 6:54 PM.
Oh well, you think, Can’t really get anything done while I feel like this anyways. Might as well take a break.
You pull your phone out, suddenly taken aback by your loss for words. You’re not sure what to say to him- can’t really seem to think about discussing anything other than how miserable you are right now. And maybe that’s selfish, but aren’t soulmates supposed to confide in each other? Aren’t they supposed to vent and listen and just generally support one another?
Even you roll your eyes at that thought. Other soulmates, sure, maybe- but this? This was Bakugou; and sure, he might generally care whether you’re still alive or not to talk to him, but you really weren’t sure he’d care enough to listen to your problems.
But hey, your stubbornness is what got you into this miserable mess in the first place, so even with rolling nerves, you texted him anyway.
You tried joking. You tried your usual routine of ribbing him, but you just weren’t feeling it today. You decided to just bite the bullet and tell him- and whether or not he responds like an asshole is up to him.
Alright. Truthfully, his last jab sort of hurt.
Actually, scratch the ‘sort of’. It hurt. It just hurt.
You already felt stupid and you really didn’t need him confirming that- even if it stemmed solely from his bad attitude and not from any actual concrete evidence.
Oh.
Oh.
You read his words again, your eyes tracking each individual letter until you could feel more hot tears rising behind them. You dropped your head on the desk, phone falling from your hand.
Jesus, it was that simple, wasn’t it? Your answer to Bakugou’s earlier question was even simpler, immediate, came easier than breathing. You loved your engineering courses. You loved your support courses.
And even though it felt like you were burning out, the problem was always the amount of work, not the work itself. You enjoyed each assignment- at least when you really thought about it.
He was right. Nothing else mattered. You suffered through your course work because it was a necessary step towards your dream. There was no room for doubt, or anxiety within that statement- it was the truth. Plain and simple. So you’d stick it out. You’d be fine because you had to be. Because there was no other option for you. Because you’d never feel content until you could help people the same way all those heroes on TV did.
You wondered idly if all your problems were really just over-complications from your anxiety-ridden brain. You wondered if maybe Bakugou’s blunt point of view could help with those too.
You phone suddenly buzzed again. Twice- one after the other in quick succession. You couldn’t help your smile when you saw the messages.
You snorted, hardly believing your eyes as he typed out the smiley face.
You already knew Bakugou was funny, but apparently he was pretty smart too. At least, smart in the ways you weren’t.
And you figure maybe that’s what being soulmates is really about- filling the gaps and making one another complete. You think you could live with that.

I think I finally found my groove with Obsidian/Zettelkasten. It's definitely something I had to work out for myself, though I still took a lot of inspiration from the YouTuber I posted the video of a while back! I'm glad it helped some people, I think 100 level classes should include a survey of note-taking and study styles, I would have been unstoppable in undergrad if we were taught to learn. Also, its kind of impressive how calm and content I can be in a dim room with classical playing in my headphones and a big comfortable sweater. I like this feeling. Finally I'm just studying, I'm caught up on assignments so I can just study. I like this feeling, and I don't want to forget it again in the stress. Wishing you warm, comfortable, and peaceful vibes too~

It’s nearly 11pm here so I’ll make this brief haha. I’m fallen behind due to just life stuff that I can’t help. It’s sad how fast it feels like drowning in academia. Hopefully I’ll get caught up and not have issues, but for now the stress is here.

Take Control of Your Study Habits
My Obsidian.md for studying When I started university, more years ago than I’d care to admit, I was one of the many students with a difficult transition period. I’d been one of those “gifted kids” – though “gifted” to who I wonder, because it certainly wasn’t to myself. But my grades were always exceptional and I caught on quickly enough that just figuring out the homework was enough for me to…

Procrastinating as an engineer is an interesting thing. I got tired of having a haphazard pile of postit notes on my desk so I fixed the problem! I also discovered that my student license for Fusion 360 expired, so I had to find something else. I was expecting to find something "good enough" but for mechanical parts (which is my use case) I actually really like Solve Space a lot better than any Autodesk product I've tried, and its Open Source!
